Introduction w/ further context and background

This is a draft of an introductory paragraph (written by @sarahrothberg) that we're planning to incorporate. Placing it here to start for review and as a reminder.

🌎 Intro
This document represents a community effort that not only names our aspirations and guidelines for how we interact with each other, but also represents the type of work, research, and thinking we do at ITP/IMA. Through this documents’ collaborative development, evolving structure, statement on technology, as well as the technology used to support its development (ranging from zoom, to github, google docs, the web, slides, language itself, and beyond) we hope to model our understanding that community and technology are enmeshed. We recognize that community is a form of technology, that technology can support community, and that changes in technology can transform communities, and vice versa.
