Marc Tessier:

It's not really important but have been noticing something with the Elan files we create that has been bugging me a little bit. Really this would be for the advanced users and they should know what they are doing.
Wondering about the Elan format / if we should include a zip file with the audio media ( or just let the user go back and manually download the audio file that was created or use the uploaded?
BUT
Normally when I open an Elan file , the attached audio file is also opened automatically when it is place in the same folder .
When I use the Elan files from RA , I get all the textual & timing information ( Sentence and Word) that is all GOOD ! , but I can't "play" with it with the synced audio inside that interface.
To make it work with the audio, I need to add this line below for example under the <HEADER> section in the eaf file.
<MEDIA_DESCRIPTOR MEDIA_URL="AudioFilename.wav" MIME_TYPE="audio/wav"/>

My comment: good idea, but how do we determine what the right audio file name is, when we're not controlling the audio file name?
