Read Me does not state requirement "run server on Windows OS"

I maintain a SonarQube server v5.6 running under Linux and tried this plugin. From the available documentation it wasn't clear to me that this would work only on a Windows machine (with possible additional requirements like being part of the domain to authenticate against?).

This plugin gives a WARN in the log like "running on Linux!?!?". Is it common wisdom that it is impossible to authenticate from Java on Linux against AD? Should be made clear.
