It looks like the named pipe doesn't handle large query log output well? It was locking up our hasura container. A regular file seems to work fine.

I'm not 100% sure on the inner workings of named pipes, but a normal file is also an option of course. Its also mentioned in the README. :)

The files size might get quite large at some point see #11, so there are trade offs with both solutions.

"/bin/sh", "-c", ": > /tmp/log/stdout.log && /bin/graphql-engine serve | tee /tmp/log/stdout.log"
