Feature request: Workspaces dropdown list

Thank you for your extension, it is simple and efficient.

There is one feature I really would like to see 😊
The possibility to list the workspaces without triggering the overview mode, like this

It is advertised on this extension: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/21/workspace-indicator/, but I never managed to make it work 😅
