More info on file/folder include/exclude patterns and how they work

I think it would be useful to add more information about how file_include_patterns, file_exclude_patterns, folder_include_patterns and folder_exclude_patterns work. (And binary_file_patterns?)

Thanks for that @keith-hall. We're in the process of revamping key reference items like settings and one of our aims is to be more thorough about details.
