Upgrade to Tiddlywiki 5.2.3 results in loss of autosave #6
Comments
You just need to create a new tiddler with the title
and the content
Then MAGIC, problem solved. I don't know why, I saw this solution on a website, but unfortunately I forgot the link to that website, so...a big thanks to the guy whose name I don't know! |
Hi @Nivdc
Does not work for me! As you advised
Nothing happened, if you click on save, browser tries to download the file. |
Sorry for not noticing that the question mentions this empty.html, I am not using this file. It seems that the file is missing some other system parameters.

The line below is the content. You can try it with my file. PS: |
Hi @Nivdc Work like a charm. Much appreciated. Your solution procedure worth to be documented. I drop a not into Talk for future references. |
That's great to hear. Anyway, there was a problem here before, and now the problem is solved, this is the most important thing. |
Ah thank you I forgot about it!
I revised the message on Talk and acknowledged the original post! Thank you again and sorry for inconveniences. |
I tried upgrading twexe based on #5
I just downloaded an empty 5.2.3 and then ran
twexe empty.html
This updates twexe to latest tiddlywiki.
BUT
the autosave feature seems to be lost with the update.
When I edit any tiddler and close the tiddler, it used to autosave. But no longer once updated to the new tiddlywiki.
Saving from the right hand side icon downloads a copy of the tiddlywiki instead of saving to twexe.
Anybody has this sorted out ?
