Basemaps not showing within area of WKT objects

I'm hoping someone can help me resolve this issue with basemaps not displaying.

I've configured the icon map visual in power BI to display a WKT representation of new zealand councils.
However, when I enable the basemap (Open Street Map Standard), it's not displaying within the area of my WKT objects.
I've tried different basemap options, but they all present the same way.
I've also checked the Coordinate Reference System - set to EPSG4326, which is the same as the WKT strings I've imported.
I'm out of ideas, so hoping that someone can help point me in the right direction?
