Problem with loading dependencies

If I only load the cygnus package with library(cygnus) and try to run an example, I get errors for functions that aren't recognized internally. This is fixed if I also load the dependencies into my environment as follows:
library(Matrix)
library(sf)
library(mclust)

I don't think this should be necessary if the package is loaded properly.
