Cascade issues in the configuration settings (plugin - category - article)

I am using the current version, ie 1.0.2.

I have spotted different issues in the cascade of the configuration settings (plugin - category - article)

Issue 1
In the plugin the following option says "Layer an image with the template? : Only applies to core content (articles). The image is specified in the article itself and falls back to the intro image."
But actually by default Social Magick uses the Full Image, not the Intro Image.
(ideally it would be nice to be able there to select what the default image should be by default: intro, full and maybe the other usual options)

The only workaround I could find was the following: for each Category of Level 1 > tab OpenGraph > section Article > enable Override menu item and parent category options > enable Generate Open Graph images > Extra image source : Intro Image

Issue 2
Playing with all this I also discovered the following :
That Open Graph Tab in Category has 2 sections :

1. category : there you can select a Static Image
   2 articles : there you cannot select a Static Image

Issue 3
When selecting a different configuration at the Category level

1. it works for that given Category
2. but not for its children (so why is cascading working for the Articles section but not for the Category section of that Tab?)

I can confirm Issue 1 from above.
The full article image is used, although the options says that fallback is intro image - but otherwise it works great! :-)
