Unclear Application of Algorithm to Single Cell CUT&Tag or CUT&RUN Data

Could there be a section added to the documentation about the applicability of MACS 3 to CUT&Tag or CUT&RUN data? I have seen published journal articles using it, but is the underlying statistical model well-suited to such sparse data?
