Hello. I suspect that absoluteX/absoluteY of columns block not working after update. Its not floating on top of the map.

If the absoluteX, absoluteY and width are given, the columns block will be floating on top of the page at the specified position.

After which update, please be specific with a version numbers?

There was a change from iText to OpenPDF in order to respect GPL license restrictions in GeoServer, GeoNode. As part of changing PDF engine some functionality may not be working as intended.

Yes, guess the problem is OpenPDF. I even seem to find the bug:

i am not understanding as i am just being a build person n this project, can you make a PR please?

that said we are making a release very soon for geotools api change and java 11
