A firefox add-on to translate selected text using Google Translate

Installation

Open about:debugging on your firefox, and load it as a temporary add-on (pick any file from this folder, it'll work).

See it in action

Select something on a page, and either click on the beautiful button that pops up, or right-click and select FF translate.
