Projects fail to launch with v0.4.0-RC2 w/ Xcode 6 #126

I observed a bug earlier this week with a student who couldn't get a project to launch on OSX with the v0.4.0-RC2 release with Xcode 6 installed. Seems like the same issue we had at the workshop.

Did you make sure they didn't accidentally have another older version
already running? When that happens the new version starts up, but the
server fails to launch, while still launching a browser making it appear
that everything started up correctly ...

Yes I can confirm that were running only the v0.4.0-RC2 app.

My guess is that this is still a paths issue and will be cleared up as soon
as we finally rewrite the path control
