Can VizDimLoadings function take different values for the "reduction" argument?

Hi, I am novice to Seurat, and I have a question.
As far as I know, the VizDimLoadings function takes the default arguments as

VizDimLoadings( object, dims = 1:5, nfeatures = 30, col = "blue", reduction = "pca", projected = FALSE, balanced = FALSE, ncol = NULL, combine = TRUE )

I was wondering about the reduction argument. Can it take any value other than "pca" ? If it can, what is/are they and what is/are the results? If not, why is it there in the first place?
