error with converting seuratobj to loom file: Error in UseMethod(generic = "Convert", object = from) : no applicable method for 'Convert' applied to an object of class "Seurat"

Hi,
I have tried both ways below to convert my seuratobj to a loom file and gotten errors both times
pfile <- as.loom(from = data.combined, to = "loom", filename = "adar1pc.loom",
display.progress = FALSE) #Error in as.loom(from = data.combined, to = "loom", filename = "adar1pc.loom", :
could not find function "as.loom" . I do not find the as.loom function when I try to search within my seurat functions with Seurat::

but when I try:
pfile <- Seurat::Convert(from = data.combined, to = "loom", filename = "adar1pc.loom",
display.progress = FALSE) #Error in UseMethod(generic = "Convert", object = from) :
no applicable method for 'Convert' applied to an object of class "Seurat" even though i see it in the list

I also get this when I load my seurat library after installing the loom ref: Seurat v2 was just loaded with SeuratObject v5; disabling v5 assays and validation routines, and ensuring assays work in strict v3/v4 compatibility mode

Any suggestions available?
