Setup under SSL corrupt

./setup_configure.php and subpages show no layout but only the forms on an SSL-secured site, they show perfectly normal as non-SSL.

Recreate when copying ZIP-file to server, change ./cache but leave else as is.
After changing access rights for entire folder to 740 and group to allow write for webdemon (i.e. Apache), it works.

Sounds like the server probably didn't have read access to the files, doesn't it?

The funny part is, that the forms show, but the page layout (so everything else) is gone.
All other pages function(ed) normal...

When images work on http and do not work with https, It is because the browser is blocking the images that are not secure. Please edit the image paths to be relative or edit the used image URLs to be through https

Just checked: I can recreate it still. Image paths are relative. If I move the directory from SSL subdirectory to www subdirectory on the server, all works fine.
