Summary

User reviews in testing:

  • Would be nice to see their location. Where are they based?
  • Do DPG indicators have the same level of importance as SDG indicators? SDG indicators are very large.
  • Company profile “Learn more” section
  • How do you engage? How can you participate?
  • Question of when a company profile was last updated (e.g. Kotani Pay says 300 users, but when was that updated?)

Summarizing the key actions to take in this user story:

  • Adding location metadata to a team profile (and possibly embedding a map, e.g. Leaflet?)
  • Give more emphasis to DPG Indicators met and not met, as this is critical information in the team profile (it is difficult to notice in current layout)
  • Deprioritize SDG indicators (perhaps smaller icons)
  • Organize specific links into a new section, e.g. "Get involved" with the community discussion page and possibly link to a public issue/bug tracker
  • Show when a team profile was last updated (see existing article layout for how this is done in article pages)

There are other content-related changes, but these can be addressed separately from these user stories (see #160).

@jwflory
I think the last point is already met.
Because at the bottom of the article we have last updated on

I didn't get the organizing the links part. I need more context on that. I think except for this, this issue is being fixed

#168 addresses two of the five items in the checklist above.

I didn't get the organizing the links part. I need more context on that. I think except for this, this issue is being fixed

@Neha9849 I encourage you to ask questions to help you better understand the context. Could you elaborate on what is unclear? What would help you come up with a design?

I think the last point is already met. Because at the bottom of the article we have last updated on

I see it now. We should consider this to mean that the last updated timestamp is not discoverable by the user. We need an improved design for the Team Profiles that makes the last updated timestamp more visible and distinguished to the user.

This isn't a requirement to address by the end of the internship. I would push for a more comprehensive redesign of the Team Profiles. I'm not sure we can fit a redesign into the timeline for finishing the internship, and I think it is more important to focus on the end-of-internship team presentation instead.
