Describe the bug
After installing a chrome app the app shortcut does not have the correct icon. The icon attributed is the chrome icon, but should have the chrome app icon from the manifest file. Why I think it's a bug: the breeze icon theme attributes the correct webapp icon. I believe these icons are added to the hicolor theme under ~/.local/share/icons/hicolor with a chrome app identifier when the chrome app is installed.

This is happening under KDE Plasma, I am not sure if this occurs in Gnome or other DEs

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Using a chrome based browser go to https://code.nasa.gov/
  2. Click on install, the install button should appear in the address bar
  3. You must have the icons only taskbar open or search for 'nasa' in your launcher menu or krunner
  4. You should see the NASA logo but the Tela theme attributes the chromium icon
  5. If you switch to the breeze icon theme the correct NASA logo appears

Expected behavior
The manifest logo should be attributed, I believe the manifest logos get copied to ~/.local/share/icons/hicolor

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Endeavour OS
  • Webapps (PWAs) in general
  • KDE Plasma 6.0.3
