After wireleap has been turned off, the system needs to restart each time for wifi to work again.

I checked again and it seems like wireleap wasn't running but tun was, which caused the above error. Also, is there a particular reason why wireleap tun doesn't stop after wireleap has been stopped?

thank you for reporting. this is expected behavior to avoid inadvertent leaks if the main wireleap process goes down (with VPNs this is called a "dead man's switch"). however, we probably need to document it better and/or ensure a user-issued wireleap stop brings down tun.

this error is also caused when wireleap is running.
