Expected behavior

After duplicating a message (that I use as a template) in the app you can add comments, as it is set in the general preferences. In the browser you see in the Menu at the right at "Discussion": Open (Openen in Dutch).

Actual behavior

After duplicating a message in the app the "Discussion" item is set back from Open to Ping only. And you can't change that in the app, I have to do it in my browser.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

In WordPress-app click on the three dots next to a new made message and press Duplicate (Dupliceren in Dutch), add text and "Save as concept" or "Publish" (no difference).

Tested on [device], iOS [version], Jetpack iOS / WordPress iOS [version]

WordPress site on Raspberry Pi 4, Bookworm, locally.
WordPress version 6.6.2; Theme TwentyTwentyOne

Tested on iPhone 11 and iPad-mini (6th generation) with WordPress-app as well as Jetpack.
iOS version 18 (both; but also on 17.7 (both))
WordPress iOS version 25.3(25.3.0.1)
JetPack iOS version 25.3

In april-may 2024 Duplicating in the app was working fine.
WordPress on Raspberry Pi must have been built 6.4.3 or 6.4.4 (as I look at the built history).
iOS app versions I don't know, can't find a built history. But should be up to date because I update apps at least once a week.
