If you select a data source from Blitzortung.org, then every hour, or when you run any application that requires location, a message appears: "Please do not use the Blitzortung.org data provider during high lightning activity, as the map display performance will degrade."

Offer to add a checkbox in the program settings for enable or disable these notifications.
