Parallax is a software GUI designed to aid in electrophysiology recordings using the Modular Insertion System (MIS). Parallax facilitates control of the probe translation stages, the cameras and focusing system, and the heavy mechanics from within one application. Additionally, it features a custom-tailored computer vision system for performing camera calibrations, triangulating points in 3D space, and automatic probe detection.
