SCNI_ShowImages

Aidan Murphy edited this page Oct 11, 2018 · 3 revisions

This function presents a series of image files to the observer in either a pseudo-random or block-design order, suitable for neurophysiological recording or function MRI experiments respectively. The settings specific to this experiment can be edited via the GUI that is opened using SCNI_ShowImagesSettings.m (accessible from the SCNI_Toolbar).

Keyboard Shortcuts

R : Reward delivery - this sends a TTL pulse of the duration currently specified in the SCNI_RewardSettings.m GUI.

A : Audio playback - this can be used to manually provide positive or negative feedback to the subject, or simply to wake the subject up.

C : Center fixation - this updates the X and Y offset amounts of the eye calibration values so that the current eye position becomes zero (i.e. center of the screen). This can be useful for correcting drift without having to exit the experiment and re-run calibration.
